Damon J Toney

Damon J. Toney was born August 9, 1952 to the loving parents of James Sr. and Elizabeth Toney. Damen was the second of nine children.
Damon began his education at John Farren Elementary School and DuSable Upper Grade Center. Upon graduation he attended DuSable High School.
Growing up, Damon had an artistic talent for drawing comic book characters along with other subjects that appealed to him. Damon also took an interest in Martial Arts, a field in whichhe excelled and became an instructor.
Damon lived at Threshold Rehabilitation Housing for twenty years. While in this environment, he was employed with Tri institutes for ten years as a janitor. Although living independently, Damon would spend time with family for holidays and cookouts.
On Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10:40 p.m. Damon J. Toney departed this life leaving a void in our hearts and a treasure of memories forever.
