John Otto Keith Sr. Obituary
John Otto Keith Sr., fondly known as
Johnny passed away peacefully on October
26, 2024 at 4:26 a.m. He was born July 30,
1957, to Jacob Otto Keith and Ida B. Keith
(William), who preceded him in death along
with his grandparents.
A proud graduate of Hyde Park High School,
where he distinguished himself as a
wrestler, Johnny went on to serve his
country honorably in the United States
Army, continuing his family's rich
tradition of military service. His
dedication to helping others led him to
work as a medical technician in a mental
health, and later, as a member of the
United States Postal Service.
Johnny leaves behind a legacy of love
through his sons, John O. Keith II and
Marius Z. Keith, as well as countless
children who knew him as "Dad" through his
selfless acts of kindness and unwavering
support. His siblings, Jacob A. Keith,
Yosef Ben Levi, Jacquelyn A. Keith, and Jan
L. Keith will cherish his memory.
Johnny will be remembered for his generous
spirit and for showing up whenever anyone
needed him. He was deeply loved and will be
profoundly missed by all who knew him.
