A Celebration of a Life Well Lived
Pat was born on July 13th, 1939, in Belzoni, MS, to Magnolia Taylor and Eugene Stutts, who both preceded her in death.
Pat confessed her hope in Christ at an early age by attending Zion Rock Missionary Baptist church located in Belzoni, MS.
Pat attended McNair High School in Belzoni, MS. Right after graduation, she moved to Chicago, IL. Early in life, she met and married Albert Robertson from Yazoo, MS, and they were blessed with two daughters, Sophia and Sheila.
Later in life, Pat found love again and married Joseph Zambrella, who preceded her in death.
Pat spent most of her summers in Wisconsin Dells, WI, where she had a lovely summer home with a gorgeous view of the lake. She also enjoyed shopping for antiques.
Pat dedicated years as a homecare worker; she found joy in taking care of others, and it was a role she truly cherished.
Pat went home to be with the lord on July 9th, 2025, at 12:10 pm; she was preceded in death by her parents and 3 siblings, Corrine, Gloria, and her only brother, Lieutenant. She leaves to cherish her two daughters, Sheila Robinson and Sophia Robinson-Crosby, one son-in-law, Robert Crosby, 4 grandchildren, Bryant Robinson, Corneilus Robinson, Levon Robinson, and Rajanee Robinson-Crosby, 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Letter from grandchildren/Great grandchildren
Grandma,
We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks for being our grandmother. Even though you're no longer with us, your love and warmth still fill our hearts.
Thank you for being our guiding star and for filling our lives with so much joy. We promise to carry your spirit in everything we do and to love each other as fiercely as you loved us.
Your presence, while slightly fading in our memories, has profoundly shaped who we are today. We wish you eternal peace, Grandma, and we strive to honor your legacy by deepening the bonds we share with our loved ones. Thank you for being an enduring part of our lives, even from afar. Your influence remains with us, guiding our hearts and connections.
Love Always
Your Grandbabies
For the Woman Who Came Before Us
by Bryant Robinson (Grandson)
Though we walked on different trails,
Your love was present in the veils--
In gentle hugs, in Sunday grace,
In quiet strength upon your face.
You shaped the roots from which we grew,
With hands that held both old and new.
And though I longed for more of you,
The time we shared was sacred, too.
You were a vessel in His plan,
a light passed down from hand to hand.
My mother's strength, my aunt's kind ways--
Reflect on the path you set ablaze.
Your spirit moved in silent ways,
like whispered prayers or hymns of praise.
And now you rise where angels sing,
to meet your rest beneath God's wing.
May Heaven wrap you in its glow,
And all your seeds of love still grow.
May robes of peace replace all pain,
And joy be yours in sweet refrain.
And though this chapter now must end,
Your soul transcends, dear grandmother.
Your name will echo when we pray--
a matriarch, not gone... just changed.
So, rest now, Grandmother, crowned in light,
Your spirit soars past the night.
We'll meet again when God sees fit--
where love is whole, and no one forgets.
Until that time, we'll walk in grace,
With strength you wore upon your face.
In every smile, in all we do,
We'll carry the best parts of you.
Your legacy will still unfold--
In stories lived, in hearts made bold.
You gave us roots, and now we rise--
Your love forever in our lives.
We love you, and may your light shine through,
guiding each step in all we do.
Your spirit lives, your soul is true... Rest well, Momma. We honor you.
Letter from Son-in-law
From the very first moment I entered your family, you embraced me with unparalleled warmth and kindness. Your generosity and unwavering support shaped me into who I am today, and for that, I will forever be grateful. You taught me the value of compassion, persistence, and love, lessons that I carry with me each day.
You always accepted me as not just your son-in-law but your actual son. You would always tell Sophia, "Robert is the son I never had."
Thank you for everything you have given to me, for every lesson taught and every moment shared. You will be deeply missed, and your profound words will continue to inspire me as we navigate life without you.
Robert,
TO MOM
In the quiet moments of dawn's first light,
We feel your presence, warm and bright.
Your love, a beacon, guides our way,
Even though you've gone away.
Your laughter echoes in our hearts,
A melody that never parts.
Your wisdom, gentle as a breeze,
Whispers through the rustling trees.
Though tears may fall and hearts may ache,
Your memory, Mama, will never break.
In every flower, in every song,
Your spirit lives forever strong.
We miss your touch, your tender care,
But find you in the love we share.
Your legacy, a precious thread,
We weave into the life we've led.
Rest in peace, dear Mama, sweet,
In our hearts, your love's heartbeat.
Until we meet in heaven's embrace,
We'll cherish you, your endless grace.
Your Daughters
Sheila & Sophia
